- Support for Allen-Bradley PLCs

The PLC Datasource object now supports Allen-Bradley PLC devices natively.
- Active Connector-Relay Chain

Active Relay components can now be created in system:inmation. This allows any number of Relays to be used in communication chain between an active Connector to a Core.
- FileMonitor Object Class

The new FileMonitor object class enables the user to monitor the creation and modification of files in specified file locations. In addition, the FileMonitor object can execute actions on files including processing, transfer to Dropzone datasources and creation of events.
- New embedded Lua libraries

A number of Lua libraries have been integrated into system:inmation:

LuaExpat XML Parser library.

Brimworks LuaZip - Improved Zip functionality for Lua.

The new ODBC Datasource class allows an integrated interface to relational databases with the ability to schedule queries and configure authentication credentials.

Compatibility of 1.52 with Visual KPI 5.66.1.383
For system:inmation v1.52, it is recommended to use version 5.66.1 of Visual KPI. system inmation v1.52 remains compatible with older versions of Visual KPI from 5.55.1.344 onwards. However, due to known issues, Visual KPI 5.57 should not be used. |
