| There is a known issue with the Store and Forward buffering of real-time data on Connectors beneath Local Core objects that, in certain circumstances, can result in real-time data not being forwarded to the System or a custom Data Store of the Master Core. If you have Local Core installations, it is recommended to store real-time data in a local data store in addition to the Master Core Data Store as a precaution. This issue will be fixed in the next release. |
| Deleting a custom time-series data store can in certain situations lead to an internal configuration error of data store sets, leading to real-time data values not being archived in the correct data store. Currently, the suggested fix is to restart the service component which hosted the deleted data store. This page will be updated with more detailed instructions when they become available. |

- Audit Trail

The new Audit Trail feature, enables a full secure time stamped record of all object configuration changes to be recorded and recalled for the entire system. Audit Trail records can be retrieved using the Audit Trail Display, Lua and Web API.
- Link Item

The new Link Item object is configured to display updated real-time values and provide historical data values for a configured linked item that has a dynamic value.

- PAS-X MSI Integration

The PAS-X MSI communication protocol is now supported in system:inmation. The Werum PAS-X MSI message type is an XML based message based shop floor interface. The integration allows non-MSI shop floor systems to communicate via MSI.

- Batch Record Datasource

The Batch Record Datasource has undergone improvements that increase memory stability, including with large sets of configured units and APRM connections. Also, increased control over fetch counts for recent and historical batches.
- History Chain improvements

Re-configurations to the Tag Configuration table of the History Transporter are more efficiently handled and the resultant changes are more clearly reflected in the State Table and logs. Other improvements related to on-the-fly tag configuration changes have been made.
- JSON Viewer

Improvements have been made to the JSON Viewer including a revamp of the tree viewer with added functionality and making JSON strings editable. JSON viewer is now available in more places in DataStudio including Console and Script Editor content panels.
- Object Picker in Tables

The object/instance picker is now available to add objects to table columns in selected DataStudio fixed schema Table properties.

Compatibility of 1.68 with Visual KPI 5.76.7.438
For system:inmation v1.68, it is recommended to use version 5.76.7.438 of Visual KPI. system inmation v1.68 remains compatible with older versions of Visual KPI from 5.55.1.344 onwards. However, due to known issues, Visual KPI 5.57 should not be used. |
